Our Response To COVID-19

Casco Bay Podiatry is here to treat your feet. We are open and available for in office, telephone & tele-video visits. By following the safety recommendations of the Maine CDC, we are providing care while mitigating the risk of COVID-19 exposure.

These are procedures you can expect when attending an appointment:

Pre-Appointment Screening
Have you had any of the following symptoms within the past 14 days:
•Fever (greater than 100 degrees)
•Persistent cough
•Shortness of breath (recent onset)
•Sore throat
•Recently diminished sense of taste or smell
•Flu-like symptoms (chills, body aches, headaches)
•Had contact with anyone known or suspected of having COVID-19?

If the answer is "YES" to 1 or more questions, it will be necessary to reschedule your appointment. These same questions will be asked when we call to confirm your next appointment and upon your arrival at each subsequent appointment.

Arrival
•Please come to your appointment alone. No visitors allowed at this time. The only exception will be if you need assistance to safely enter our office. Once in our care, we will ask the person who assisted you to please wait in the car.
•We have scheduled an additional 15 minutes between patient appointments for office cleaning and social distancing.
•Please enter our office at the time of your scheduled appointment. DO NOT enter the office early. We want you to be the only person in our waiting and we've arranged our schedule to make this possible.
•Please wear a mask while you are in the office.
•Office staff will be wearing protective equipment as per CDC guidelines.
•Contact surfaces in the office have been sanitized prior to your appointment.

Telehealth Appointments
Telehealth appointments are available to appropriate patients to minimize the spread of COVID-19 while making care available to those in need.
